In 2024, Capital Group contracted Solar One to help move one step closer to meeting its corporate sustainability and social responsibility goals by increasing its commitment to clean energy at their Carmel, Indiana campus.

Capital Group - 2.5mW Solar Canopy Project

This unique project came to life as a way to help this location achieve sustainability goals, and provide team members with covered parking for all the seasons middle Indiana experiences.

The objective of the nine-month project was to offset approximately 50 percent of the site’s annual electrical load. This 2.5 MW system is a medium-sized industrial solar installation that can generate up to 2.5 megawatts of power. In total, the installation encompasses more than 100,000 square feet.
